Want a structured activity? Add prompts such as “Write down one idea you and a new contact agree on, then photograph the note.” Guests can contribute without being in the picture. You choose the rules and handle any judging.
Good to know: Gather Shot is not a booth attendance verification or lead retrieval system. Photo submissions do not establish sponsor ROI, and there is no automatic team scoring or leaderboard.

- Apply tags such as keynote, reception and networking, then download filtered ZIP bundles. Tags are a way for your team to organize files, not proof of session attendance.

- Download original photos and videos rather than gathering compressed copies from chat threads. Check image quality and reuse permissions before selecting files for a recap or sponsor package.

Basic is $59.99 per event for 1,000 uploads; photo hunts require an optional add-on. Pro is $99.99 per event for 5,000 uploads with hunts included. Both include one year of storage. Basic and Pro are single event purchases, not subscriptions.

Questions before you share the conference QR code
How do attendees upload photos without an app?
Attendees scan a QR code or tap a link, select photos or videos and upload in their browser. No guest account is required. Optional consent, email verification and required guest details add steps. A browser workflow does not replace your organization's vendor or security review.
Can I moderate uploads before they appear in the gallery?
Yes. Enable moderation to require your review before uploads appear in the public gallery. Approve, hide, or delete with a single click. Uploads are auto-approved by default.
Are uploaded photos original quality?
You can download original photos and videos. Original resolution does not guarantee a usable shot or permission to reuse it. Review quality and confirm rights for your intended audience before publishing or delivering files to sponsors.
Can I organize photos by conference session or moment?
Yes, unlimited custom tags are included. Create tags like keynote, networking, or breakout sessions. Then download filtered ZIP bundles by tag to share with your team or sponsors.
Can speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors upload to the same gallery?
Yes, everyone can contribute. Share the upload link or QR code with anyone you want. Everyone contributes to one organized gallery.
Is the conference gallery private?
Public Gallery and auto-approval are enabled by default. People with the gallery link can view approved photos and forward the link. Disable Public Gallery to hide the shared gallery; guests still see their own uploads, including pending ones. Enable moderation before collecting if you need review before display. A shared link is not confidential access control.
How long are conference photos stored?
1 year of storage is included with both plans. Download everything as a ZIP file anytime.
Can I run a photo scavenger hunt during my conference?
Yes. Hunts are included in the trial and Pro, and available as an optional Basic add-on. Create up to 50 prompts for photo or video responses. Guests see personal completion progress; hosts review responses by prompt. Team scoring, judging and winners are manual. Try a short optional networking round or leave selected prompts open between sessions.
What if conference WiFi is unreliable?
Uploads and the live slideshow need internet. Give attendees a saved prompt list or paper copy and let them take photos in their camera app. They can return and upload manually when connected, while the hunt and upload window are open. Do not rely on automatic offline synchronization. Offer a host-recorded answer for anyone who cannot upload.
Does this verify booth visits or collect sponsor leads?
No. Photo responses are contributions, not verified booth attendance, qualified leads or evidence of sponsor ROI. If your event requires lead retrieval or checkpoint verification, use a system designed for that purpose. Optional guest fields do not turn photo collection into lead retrieval.
Does an upload give us permission to use everyone's image?
Do not assume that it does. Ask permission before recording people and explain where images may appear. Optional consent terms can record the uploader's acceptance, but that does not establish permission from everyone pictured. Have your organization approve the notice and permissions needed for gallery display, marketing and sponsor reuse.
Can my team help moderate uploads during the event?
Yes, you can add co-hosts. Basic lets you invite 1. Pro lets you invite up to 9. Assign roles to control who can change critical settings.
What happens if we exceed our upload limit?
Basic includes 1,000 uploads and Pro includes 5,000. Extra uploads stay locked until you buy enough capacity for that event. Enterprise is a separate $999 annual subscription for future events, not an upgrade that transfers an existing event. It includes unlimited events and 100,000 shared uploads per subscription year.
