Do guests need to download an app?
No app or guest account is required. Guests scan your QR code or open a link in their browser. If you enable consent, they must accept your terms and verify their email. Required guest-data fields must also be completed before uploading.
Does this work for company holiday parties?
Yes. For an office party, enable approval before public display and assign a co-host to review uploads. Keep participation optional, leave confidential screens and badges out of photos, and tell guests whether photos are for the event screen, an internal recap, or another use.
Can I display photos on a screen during the party?
Yes. Enable Public Gallery, then open the slideshow URL on an internet-connected browser display. Only approved photos appear. The slideshow checks for new approved photos about every 15 seconds, so leave time for review and a short display delay. Test it before guests arrive.
How does the holiday Scavenger Hunt work?
Guests open your prompts on their phone and submit matching photos. Start with our recommended 10 to 15 prompts for a short game. Gather Shot tracks personal completion, but you manage teams, points, and winners manually. Hunts are included in Pro and the free trial, or available as a Basic add-on.
Can multiple people help manage the gallery?
Yes. Basic includes 1 co-host, Pro supports up to 9. Great for event committees or planning teams.
How long do you store the photos?
1 year of storage is included. Download your photos in full resolution as many times as you need.
