What kind of screen do I need for the live slideshow?
Any screen with a web browser works, including TVs, projectors, laptops, and tablets. The slideshow is a fullscreen web page you open via a unique URL. Navigate to the link in any browser and go fullscreen.
Do photos appear on the slideshow immediately?
Not instantly. There is a slight delay. New approved photos are picked up within about 15 seconds (the polling interval). Photos must also be approved through moderation before they appear.
Can I run the slideshow and collect photos at the same time?
Yes. The slideshow runs on its own URL, completely independent of the upload portal. Guests upload photos on their phones while the slideshow displays approved photos on your screen simultaneously.
Does the slideshow need WiFi to work?
Yes. The slideshow is a live web page that checks the server every 15 seconds for newly approved photos. The device running the slideshow needs an active internet connection.
Is there an extra cost for the live slideshow feature?
No. The slideshow is included with both Basic and Pro plans. It is automatically available whenever you enable the Public Gallery for your event. No add-on or upgrade required.
Can I control how fast the slideshow rotates?
